Research

At the same time as his artistic works, Philippe Goudard leads academic research. He is a MD medicine doctor, awarded a diploma in emergency medicine, and a PhD doctor in performing arts, both diplomas specialised in circus arts.
University professor (Prof.Dr.) in performing arts at the University Paul Valéry Montpellier, France,  he is teaching within the Cinema – Theater Department, in Theater-and-Live-performance network
As researcher, he is assistant-director of the Research team RIRRA 21, EA 4209 and manages the research-program  « Circus : history, imaginary, practices »
